From 13th till 16th of September a creative meeting of three theaters took place. A Karelian side presented theater studio “Rostok” (department of the Youth Union “Doroga”) from Petrozavodsk, Finnish theater “Floppi-Fraasi” from Joensuu and the theater “Pogos” from Ilomantsi. During three days children worked in the joint master-classes, which were held by both Karelian and Finnish directors.

"Ecology for juniors" camp took place in Finland in June 2007. It was organized by Youth Union Doroga (Petrozavodsk, Russia) and "Young Eagles" (Joensuu, Finland). The camp is an activity of the Youth House Karelia project.

Project’s experience in the sphere of youth environmental education is summarized in 4 brochures.

Brochure “Youth House Karelia” project – experience of youth ecological cross-border cooperation development” covers main project main actions and results. This brochure will be useful for youth leaders and other managers, who work in the sphere of youth cross-border ecological cooperation development. In Russian, English and Finnish.

In Petrozavodsk the youth urban policy programme for the period till 2010 is elaborated. Main programme creators are Youth Department of the City Administration and the Union of children and youth organizations of Karelia. The determination of programme “Youth policy of the city of Petrozavodsk” confirmation was accepted by the city council session on December 26.

On the 28th of December the youth visit centre opening happened in the suburbs of Petrozavodsk (Luchevoe-1 place). The youth visit centre was established within the projects “Youth House Karelia”, which is implemented on the European Union funds. During half a year a two-storied house with all conveniences was build that will be used as all-the-year-round base for the seminars and other youth organizations activities holding. A big part of the building was accomplished by volunteers. The mayor of Petrozavodsk Viktor Maslyakov took part in the opening. He thanked the European Union for the funding of the project “Youth House Karelia” and presented the letter of gratitude to the youth volunteers of the Youth Union “Doroga” and “Scouts of Karelia” that made an important contribution to the visit centre building. The mayor also gave a special present to the visit centre - a big LCD television.
